Occupying the Internet since 1996 |
 Welcome to SteveCox.com! How does one come to have a website domain in his name? In my case the story dates back to 1996 when I hosted a Memphis talk radio show called "Internet Talk" on WMC AM79 for 44 one hour episodes. The show's sponsor, LunaWeb, was so pleased with the show that they bought me my own domain as a token of appreciation! Well, once I had it I couldn't let it just sit there, could I?

THIS SITE UNDER CONTINUAL CONSTRUCTION |
 Having just recently discovered the wonders of Joomla open source web server software , I've been playing with getting SteveCox.com off its decade old static content duff and into something new and exciting.
For you web builders out there, be aware that it is LOTS of fun to work with Joomla. I can recommend it with very few reservations to anyone who's got a little time to learn a better way to build a Website!
For the time being you'll still find links to all the old SteveCox.com stuff, (some of which is over a decade old), but be aware that those little web elfs are hard at work in the background; so watch your step and wear a hard hat. |

Here's where I put a few videoclips from my dusty archives (mostly Memphis stuff you won't find anywhere else): MemphisMemories videos on YouTube. WARNING: Some of these videos may be a bit "racy" for some, but that was the nature of Memphis music in the '80s and '90s.
