Jimi Jamison St. Jude Benefit Concert 2010 |
Minglewood Hall in Memphis, Tennessee was THE place to be for the Jimi Jamison St. Jude Benefit Show and fundraiser! Notables from rock-n-roll society turned out en masse to support Jimi in this wonderful effort. In addition to the mid-south faithful, some of Jimi's fans flew thousands of miles to attend the concert and help support Jimi's cause, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital . In addition to Jimi Jamison , the event included performances by Wally Palmar (The Romantics), Roy Head ("Treat Her Right"), Larry Hoppen (Orleans), John Cafferty (Beaver Brown Band), Joe Bouchard (Blue Oyster Cult), bluesboy Will Tucker and many others, including yours truly who joined Jimi and the RPM Band for an Eye Of The Tiger concert finale. Yes, I had BIG fun! Another highlight of the evening was a reunion of the '70s progressive rock group EDGEWOOD. An incredible band. Those of you wanting to see more are in luck! I took a LOT of photos at the concert and you can view them in either of the following ways:
- Musical Slideshow Video on YouTube - Official Photo Gallery of the event
Watch this space soon for links to YouTube concert footage from the event! There is much talk of making this an annual affair. WE HOPE TO SEE YOU THERE NEXT YEAR!
