The Harahan Bridge
cuts a jagged
swath across the bluffs, connecting West
and East banks of the Mississippi River
at Memphis, Tennessee. Built more than
80 years ago, the structure looks ready to
stand firm for at least another century,
forever silent about its secrets under the
dense jungle growth, hiding strange
dark rooms and nooks beneath the
enormous steel superstructure.
